        <![CDATA[ Hello

I got my mail today and in it was my Moderator&#39;s -N-Sq. Unrelieved Target Diamond Grips. These grips Belong to Jim and he has asked me to refurbish them. I
will be adding a spliced piece if wood on the one lower back strap and will fill and sand the rest of the damage. They are not bad at all, and it will be my
pleasure Taking care of Jim he is a good friend and A great Moderator as well as a Valuable Asset to this forum..Here is the Before Photos. H.D.

			<description><![CDATA[ Thanks again Kurt.  When I bought the Chief&#39;s gun some 25 years ago I was concerned about presurving the Grips as thay had some damage from their trip to
and stay in South East Asia so I took them off and hid them in a box.  When I saw what Hammerdown did with Ralph&#39;s grips I wanted him to try with mine. 
What a great job.  Sorry I did not get out side as it is raining again.  Maybe you can get a view from the kitchen table.

			<description><![CDATA[ A year plus service with a Coast Guard Chief serving in  of the Brown Water Navy in Viet Nam is a good reason for this damage on this pair of grips.  The 6 1/2
model 25 no dash was bought used and sent to S&amp;W for a check over before it was deployed  with the &quot;Chief&quot;.  The revolver is in very nice shape
from being protected by the the holster but the grips were exposed.  A few half moon clips and easily available .45 ACP ammo made it a  good gun for service in
