Posts: 7021 (01/18/09 04:18:28) Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None Hello I know most of us have many different Frame configurations in our S&W revolver's, but which frame size do you Prefer or seem to collect the most ? I carry the small-J-Frame size daily,so that choice is a Given as far was what works out there for Concealment Purposes. I am very fond of the K-Frame guns as well, and to me the K-22 was one of the Best revolver's S&W ever came out with. But, when it comes down to what my Favorite frame size is, I would have to go with the-N-Frame. It has a look like no other S&W revolver to me, begging to be Hot Roded with Hand loads and will handle all my Hunting needs should I take it afield. So let's hear from you, at what frame or model is your favorite in the vast S&W Line up...H.D. "Judge not...as your Final destination may have a mirrored reflection of prior judgement of others....

I just think those little fellows are elegant - at least most of them. For some reason I don't like the looks of the ones without an exposed hammer (640 et alia). I sometimes conceal a Model 38 or a Model 637 (depending on dress and season), but for carrying openly around the place I'm partial to the little Model 60 with a three inch barrel.

My little Model 60 with the 3 inch barrel is a particular favorite of mine, but it's regulated with .38 Special.

I fell in LOVE with the Model 60 1 7/8" barrel 38 back in the late 70's. I think if I EVER had to pick one S&W to keep, it would be one on my early model 60's. Hot Toyz 44mag.

And the N frames are so comforting to have when you need a pistol that it would be hard to be without one of these as well. The K frames are sweet, and the L frames make good stout .357s. So, when it comes to always having a pistol, the J frames win just because the are so doggone handy. But, the N frame is what I reach for when I might need a pistol, and I'd have to pick this frame as my favorite. If I had to give up any of these though, I'd get a real bad headache... Good news is even the Soviets couldn't take all the guns. The better good news is my N frame .357 is doing real well, and as good a job as it always has done. And we enjoyed Church last Sunday too. And k frame twenty twos realy have a hold on me to.Thats a realy difficult question because I pretty much like all smith and wesson revolvers.
