I recently Learned that Hamilton Bowen The famous handgun Builder who Lives 20 Minutes south of me can convert a .32 H&R magnum Caliber revolver to the new exciting .327 Magnum Cartridge. I Guess all he has to do is Lengthen the cylinder throats in any Model 16-4 to complete the Process. His price is very reasonable at $125.00 and this is Veryy tempting to me. If I were to have this done, it would allow my Model 16-4 to fire .32 Short .32 S&W, .32 S& Long, .32 H&R Magnum & .327 Magnum Cartridges out of the same revolver. He does not Mark the gun with the new caliber doing this process, so I feel it would Not Knock the collector value off the 16-4 as I would be the Only one that knew it had been changed. I also Feel that S&W will Not come out with this caliber in a K-Frame Target style revolver in the future, so if I want to Keep all my collection S&W I may have to have this done in the near future. What do Ya'll Think of this idea ? H.D.
