While in one of my Honey Holes the Other day, I spotted an Old Grip Box Buried under some other Junk on the back counter. I asked the shop owner if he had any Orphan Grip Panel's'? I have a drop dead Mint Panel for a K-Sq. Frame in Target diamond style, But lack a good Inside Panel as the One I got with them as a set has a big chunk missing in the forward tongue area. We sifted through his Orphan panels and I Picked out a half a Coke Panel. Now, This Old Boy is Not Internet wise, so I asked if this one was for sale ? He KNEW it was not a K-Square as he told me that's an-N-frame panel. I said I am aware of that, but I may make it work with the K-Sq. Panel I have so Five minutes later I was out the door with my Half a Coke for $15.00. When I got home, I Paired it up with my K-Sq. Panel and I could shape it and make it work, But I Just do not have the Heart to ruing a perfectly Good Half a Coke.. I figured that maybe someday I may find a mate to it, so Now I am Hunting not one but Two Orphan Classic grips Panels. Here is the Coke Panel I scored and if I should Ever Break my Pair that I currently have on my Pre-27 on that side I do have a replacement now...H.D.
